Ive got the enemy in my house. Empty Ive got the enemy in my house.

Post by tracyp Tue Mar 24, 2015 1:17 pm

My sis in law rang... she's broken both her wrist& forearm this morn. She's a mess!  Hospital today & surgery, plates & pins on thurs. 6 wks of therapy expected till she can even hold a pen or cup. (She is a RDNS) she is not happy nor loving the hospital...

She asked, (after I told her off for not ringing me hrs earlier)... can I take her 2 poodles. She's a mess. I said yes. covering eyes  She can't walk, groom, wash, etc them. They need care.

They are  rescue dogs, a breeding pair, neither trained & they are 9 &7 yrs. They HATE  cats & chooks (of which I have both) so... "shizen" I had 3 hrs notice... they are here now!

To avoid arguments, the silkie cant be with the browns, the cat can't be with her dogs,  the silkie can't meet the poodles, & if the poodles try it on with mine.....  not a good outcome!

Twill be musical animals for a few days here to come.

Edit: Oh my smiley didnt work.

Yeah... last time they visited, the black male "Elvis" attacked my silkie chook & the white female "Paris" the elder of them. (she didn't name them by the way.) Took a chunk of fur out of my kitten. Which Chilli has obviously not forgotten. I said I wouldn't have them back! But.... this really is an emergency. dunno

Same woman who lets dogs off lead when NOT trained. Left the female in a rabbit warren to go to work... & wants to take care of mine whenever I go away.  shocked  Well, that ain't going to while I'm breathing! Lovely, gentle, caring soul, but, just no idea with dogs!

So I have sooty (my chook) living in our 4 car garage, Chilli is now living in the study, my dogs go out while her's eat, then they all switch. Hers couldnt eat next to another without snapping. She has a "Sh1t" collar on Elvis that comes off constantly. Con had to chase him down the street & under cars on a main rd when he went to pick them up. shocked Paris' is fine so I have put Tysons puppy collar on Elvis. Same as the one I sent a doggy friend, just heaps smaller. It wont come off!

& to top it off.... I woke with such a sore throat & no voice to speak of this morn.

I hope my sis in law is ok. love  But, I think I may have her dogs for sometime? As I have no idea how she can possibly cope after surgery with them.

Sorry...... rant over!

"Paris"  (the white one) had a snap at Tyson this arvo. Jess stepped in, put her back in her place, real quick! Before I could get there. She hasn't tried it again, yet! Most dogs back down permanently when Jessup steps in.

It is going to be a trying few days. Don't know what I'll do if she cant take them back?

She is actually in a pretty bad way. My OH.. her bro, picked her up from hospital... she is staying here as well as the dogs now. Lucky I cant breath, stop coughing, watering eyes, sneezing, etc.... I do need something else to look after!

Don't get me wrong, I love her to bits but...its all been really bad timing. Id do most anything for her. She can't do much of anything at the moment but I am so afraid I'll give her my germs! She didnt want to stay at her mums as she would fuss like crazy & drive her mad. I GET THAT! But, I feel like crap & she has not stopped talking all day!

I'm either a fool or stupid. Today the other one snapped at Tyson. shocked  He snapped back! shocked

I said to her earlier today... Don't let me forget, I have spag sauce, (fresh) eggs & some meals for you to take home tomorrow (as she wanted to go home on sun) so you dont have to chop or shop. Just reheat for a good dinner.

I think, she thinks im kicking her out. So I told Con to ask her to stay tomorrow night & he can drop her home before work.

Though I want her dogs out of my house ( mine have not moved freely in 5 days now!)... the same does not go for her. love
