Hi

Billy get fed raŵ and just recently I have cut out mince from his diet and he is looking really trim now.

He now seems hungry at meal times so should I up the potions as I don't want him to lose anymore weight. I prefer if I don't feed him mince cause of all the crap in there.

Is this ok xx

Well, I don't really like feeding mince anyway, so good for you!

I take it he's lost a little weight since you went over to meaty bones? He might settle down over the next couple of weeks, but if you feel he's still trimming down, and it's too much for your liking, then by all means increase the portions.

You could also introduce some green tripe (if you don't already), as it's known to add a little weight!

Thanks Caryll he is losing a little bit too much it has been happening over the past 3 months. He is not keen on green tripe so I have been adding olive and coconut oil to his meals. so I think the answer is to up the amounts and watch what happens xx

Yes, up the portions. Because it's all natural & relatively low fat, you won't do him any harm by increasing - it's just a matter of finding the right levels.

I think you've done the right thing! happy Definitely, adjust the portions until it suits him/you! Each dog is different.
