Anyone know or live in... Cornwall?

Im trying to do some research... love to hear it from the horses mouth.

Do you live there? Go there? What can you tell me about it?

Sorry, no! I'm sure somebody here will have been there though!

Im reading all the general stuff...halls, st michaels mount, lizards point, tintagel castle.... nothing about the people or the feel / mood of the area. Is it a popular place or a quiet shire?

I've been there, but not for many years!

One of our members lives in Cornwall but she hasn't posted for ages! She runs holiday cottages down there. If you pm her she might be happy to have a chat. Her name's Sue and her username is boturnell (that's the name of the cottage complex).

She's a really nice, friendly lady!

The cottages are dog-friendly as well!

My ..... was not born there but grew up there we have spoken about it  but.... I do check the background.

From what I remember it's a beautiful place with friendly people and tons of history! But I was just a child when I went there on holiday so I can't say much.

Sue will, though - I believe she's quite into the history of Cornwall although I could be wrong!

I've been to Sue's a few times now and really enjoy it down there

I haven't been to Cornwall for a few years but it is a fabulous county - so very beautiful.

He said cornwall. Forgot the name of the school he went to.

Hes a family member lynda, not my OH. He's from greece. My dad was German, mums from Irish decent. We are quite a multi cultural house, or just plain confused, im still not sure.

Greece to Cornwall is interesting - both have dramatic scenery.

From what I can tell, the scenery is wonderful!

I didnt mean to sound rude? One man is from england the other from greece. I am trying to get info on cornwall?

To most of us in the UK Cornwall is a holiday destination - gorgeous but not the easiest to get to.

So a holiday area. He grew up there.
His parents had a bed & breakfast there.... he's 78?
Hes been telling me about his homeland & I thought id get some info so I could say....yes & what about ???? Just to make him grin.
