She is 7 wks old & a real snuggle puss. Tyson thinks she needs doggie slobber to help her breathe.  shocked

They are beautiful friends Eleanor. (I could have come home with a lamb)  happy
But my guys are happy with Chilli. Tyson has not sat down since we got home with her.
Jess is asleep with a kitten jumping on her, doing the crab walk & biting her tail. laughing

Not really, she will learn to respect the chooks. We have a theory here at my house.... all animals must be "gentle" & live together "nicely". She will not be an exception. (that's just the lay of the land in this house.)

I swear .... I never thought I'd have a cat again .... she wasn't the prettiest nor the ... chunkiest? She wasn't the leader of the pack, But i liked her. & once she went for the "face punch" to my OH ...i knew she'd do well in my house.

You have a bully so you get it. if you ain't got spunk.... so I took her home.

We can't have cats. For one, I'm not really a cat lover, but mainly it's because of Dempsey - he'd kill it. Literally. sad

She'll probably have a much easier time with it than an adult cat. Good luck!

I'm a dog girl first but I always had cats both growing up & when I first left home. Tyson has had a snap at her already as she munched on his bottom but.... one deep Arghhhh, from me & he knows..... mummy dog can also bite! So back off mate & be gentle before I need to remind you.

You MUST be gentle in this house & he is currently on his cusion with Chilli snuggled into his belly.

It works both ways here Eleanor, The dogs HAVE to be gentle with her (they can always move away) but Chilli will also have to learn that biting dogs is NOT OK in this house!
As she gets older & bites & scratches harder I will allow them to tell her off but for now she is just too young to understand the rules.

She will be allowed to "play" with them for the next month or so. That will also teach them tolerance & not to be rough with her.

But I must say Tyson runs to her EVERYTIME she makes a sound. The poor dog hasn't slept in days! But.... we do have a baby in the house!  laughing
